[Nick gets up from a chair.]

[Jenny stares at herself in a mirror.]

Jenny/Nick: What do you want to know about lies, my dear?

Nick: I'll tell you about lies.

[Tina sits on the edge of her bed, her hands on her face]

[Jenny smiles as she looks at Tim]

Nick: There are white lies...

[Tim slowly opens the door to his house]

Nick: ... black lies...

[Shane sits by a window, at night, smoking]

[two hands unclasp]

Nick: ... and many shades of grey lies.

[Jenny peeks through a fence and sees Shane and another woman in the pool, kissing]

Dana: There's going to be a hotbed of rumors.

[Dana, at a cafe, points to someone]

Alice: She came on to you?

[Marina looks at someone at a party]

Jenny: I don't know what you're talking about.

[Tim sits in the dark]

Tim: Lies.

[A woman puts her hand on her chin and smiles up at someone]

Shane: I can't do it this time.

[Alice enters a room and looks around]

Male voice: She's... not here.

[Kit shakes her head]

Tim: Lies.

[Alice, sitting on a couch, smiles]

Tim: (angrily) Why couldn't you stop it, why was it so hard!

[Lacey flashes a camera bulb in Shane's face.]

Jenny: I'm sorry!

[Dana, standing at a balcony, turns and walks away]

[Bette's father at a restaurant, looking at someone ]

Tina: What were you thinking of?

Nick: Lies.

[Kit creeps into a room]

Melvin: It would be a lie.

[Lacey sits down low in a car's driver seat.]

Kit: And you don't ever do that, do you?

[Bette looks up, her expression that of sadness.]

[music stops]

Marina: I don't think I've done anything wrong.

[music]
