[Shane and a woman are smiling at each other, then they kiss.]

Older Woman: (voice over) What about love?

[Shane is styling the older woman's hair. She looks at her in the mirror.]

Shane: Love's a bitch.

[Various scenes of Shane kissing a woman.]

Shane: I just keep it simple.

Bette: (smiling) You mean like sex...

[Bette is in bed, having sex with Candace.]

Bette: (voice over) ... with no emotional entanglement?

[Bette sits at a bar, drinking; Bette smiles as she takes her jacket off and walks up to a woman at the bar.]

Bette: Do you wanna dance?

[Bette dances with the woman, very closely.]

Candace: (voice over) I'm just so happy to have you here.

[Bette and Candace embrace in bed. Candace touches Bette's face as they look at each other.]

Alice: (voice over) It was a mistake, right?

[The scene fades out. Fade in: Alice and Dana stand in a restroom, talking, their body language hinting at awkwardness.]

Dana: (shrugs) If you say so.

[Alice stares at the floor, then looks up at Dana, a little shy.]

Alice: So if I was to kiss you again?

Tonya: (voice over) She always wants what I want...

[The scene fades out. Fade in: Dana and Alice stand near Tonya.]

Tonya: (to Alice) ... more than what she wants.

[The older woman sits in Shane's barber chair. She looks at Shane in the mirror.]

Older Woman: What about you, Shane?

[Quick scenes: A woman's shirt being lifted; a woman's jeans being pulled down, revealing tattoos of vines and Celtic dragons.]

[The woman Shane kissed earlier, smiles.]

Older Woman: What do you want?

Shane: (voice over) I don't have a plan.

[At a bar, Shane talks to the woman she kissed earlier.]

Shane: That's the point.

[The woman smiles, though looks dejected. She raises her beer and nods.]

Woman: Okay.

[Kit talks to Ivan.]

Kit: No one's ever done anything like this for me.

[A man (Charles S. Dutton) smiles up at someone.]

Ivan: You're a queen.

[Kit and Ivan stand close together. They lean in to kiss, but the scene fades before there's contact.]

[Ivan holds out a set of keys.]

Bette: (voice over) Ivan is not a good idea.

[Ivan smiles and winks at Kit as she walks away.]

Bette: (smiling) You're straight.

Kit: Who says?

[The scene fades out. Fade in: Jenny standing in a waitress uniform in a diner. She looks stunned.]

Jenny: (voice over) Did you guys hear what happened to Marina?

Robin: She was calling your name.

Instructor: (voice over) Jenny Schecter...

[Jenny sits in a classroom. She looks up.]

[The instructor (Sandra Bernhard) stands in front of the class.]

Instructor: Well, well.

[At Tim's house, Jenny talks to Robin.]

Jenny: You do not wanna get sucked into...

[Tim crawls into Jenny's bed while Jenny sleeps.]

Jenny: (voice over) ... my fucking bullshit.

[Tim and Jenny have sex.]

[Robin is angry at Jenny.]

Robin: Don't tell me what I want and don't want; I know what I fucking want!

[The music slows.]

[Bette looks sad.]

Bette: I miss you.

[Tina is talking to a woman in a suit.]

Tina: I want... my autonomy.

Woman: Do you?

[Alice is upset.]

Alice: (mad) I'm totally your friend...

[Tina is lying in bed, crying.]

Alice: (voice over) ... but you can be a little cruel!

[Bette stands in the hallway at Alice's apartment.]

Bette: (mad) Don't cross that line again!

[Bette walks off.]

[A woman (Camryn Manheim) takes off a set of headphones.]

Woman: Crazy bitch.

[Bette strolls through her house, looking lost.]

Tim: (voice over) You never expect your life...

[Jenny sits in her bed, holding her knees to her chest.]

Tim: ... to throw you...

[Alice and Dana sit close at The Planet, staring into each other's eyes. Alice looks totally enamored and Dana looks slightly uncomfortable.]

Tim: (voice over) ... so totally off-plan.

[The scene fades. Fade in: Bette stands in The Planet.]

Bette: I need you.

[Tina sits at a table with Alice and Shane. Suddenly, Tina jumps up in anger and turns the table over, throwing everything on it into the floor. Bette jumps back, startled.]

[Bette stands in her bedroom.]

Bette: (screaming) TINAAA!

[Tina, carrying some of her things, opens the front door, looks back and walks out.]
