And you go, grrl. ;) -- I am going to be hiking 2,660 miles (4281 km) starting in April, 2007, to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and in honor of my late aunt Deborah, who died two weeks ago after a long, heroic fight with breast cancer. If you'd like more information about donating, either email me or visit my blog at hikeforthecure.com. Thanks for everyone's messages of support, it's tremendously appreciated. :) -- Stay tuned!

If you're interested in volunteering, see the FAQ and contact me and I'll give you the details.

22 April 2005: The transcript for 2x08 "Loyal" is now up.
10 April 2005: The transcript for 2x07 "Luminous" is now up. -- Check out the mailing list (below) for information I posted a few days ago about the schedule change on the transcript postings. I've gotten quite a bit more busy just very recently - and therefore I'm putting the remainder of the episode postings on a 2-week schedule, except for the finale which I will post asap. I apologize for this time weirdness but it's completely unavoidable. Thanks to everyone for hanging in there, especially my volunteers! (Note: You don't have to join the mailing list to read its archives.)

I'm working right now on getting their submissions, plus a Japanese translation, ready for upload. Right now I'm not taking any more volunteers for translations and subtitles. Join the mailing list if you're interested on more news in that arena!
26 February 2005: The transcript for 2x01 "Life, Loss, Leaving" is now up. Enjoy! -- I can't respond to any more emails asking when the transcripts are going to be posted. I get several of these, and some aren't very polite. I'm working as quickly as I can, I promise you. Thanks to those of you who send your encouragements, I appreciate it! -- Still looking for full-time translators and volunteer transcribers. You MUST fit the requirements listed in the FAQ. Email me if you're interested. --
22 February 2005: The transcript for 2x01 "Life, Loss, Leaving" will be up sometime later this week. -- The site search is broken temporarily. I'll post again when I get it fixed.
13 February 2005: The transcript for the preview clip of the Season 2 premiere is now up.
12 February 2005: I'm still plucking away at the commentary for the pilot, just in case anyone thought for a moment I'd forgotten about it. I'm somewhere close to halfway done. If it's taking me a while, it's because I'm just busy with stuff, but I promise I haven't forgotten. -- Oh, I'm sure this has spread like wildfire through the fandom already, but there's a scene from episode 1 up at sho.com! You'll have to register to see it. Non-U.S., use the link at the left. I will be posting the transcript of the scene later this weekend. -- Showcase in Canada is going to start airing Season 1 here in a few days. Check your listings! -- I'm still looking for translators. Email me for more info.
5 February 2005: The transcript for "All 'L' Breaks Loose" (version 1 and 2) is posted. I went through the second version and posted the additional scenes in bold text so that they're easy to spot. Much thanks to acidburn, fangirl extraordinaire, for her help transcribing. :)
2 February 2005: The transcript for the "In the Life" special is now up. I also straightened up the transcripts page so it's a little easier on the eyes. "All L Breaks Loose" is in the final stages - just have to get half the background stuff transcribed then I'll post it. It'll be Friday, if not Saturday.
31 January 2005: Greetings! The update planned for yesterday is going to happen on Wednesday. Sorry about the rescheduling but it was unavoidable. -- I'm looking for people to translate the transcripts into any language (or supply your already-translated transcripts). Your translations will be hosted here, for free, with lots of fanfare and parades heralding your arrival, and you get the undying appreciation of yours truly plus the entire ESL-L Word community (which is pretty darned sizeable), so how's that spank ya? Please if you're interested, see the FAQ and email me with any questions you have. That'll be it - see you Wednesday!
24 January 2005: Check out the new design! Thanks to everyone here at L-Word.com for their efforts in getting everything converted! -- If you haven't already, join the mailing list (below). You don't have to join to read the archives; I tend to ramble a bit more there than I do here, tho'. :) -- You'll be happy to know that later this week I'll be posting the transcript from the recent "In the Life" segment that covered TLW. And I'm currently about 1/4 of the way into the commentary for the pilot, so that'll be next. -- News bits you prolly already know: TLW has been renewed for Season 3! Congrats! Also, congratulations to Laurel Holloman, winner of the Satellite for Best Actress in a Drama Series. Rock on, sister!
28 October 2004: We've moved! Welcome to the new home of The L Word Transcripts site. The direct URL is www.l-word.com/transcripts Thanks a ton to Jacky for the digs! -- This site will still also remain at thelwordsite.cellophanesun.com until Season 2 airs, but it will not be updated anymore. -- For now, the Google Search thing will still search the cellophanesun site, 'til Google's had a chance to catalog this one. -- I've added two new link buttons (below). If anybody wants to make me some link buttons/banners, I'd be happy to host them! -- Finally, if you come across a broken link while you're perusing the site, pretty please would you email me about it? :) Thanks.
24 October 2004: There's now an announcements-only list for this site you can join through Yahoo (see the bottom of this page). This is announcement only, for me to post news about the transcripts - i.e., not a discussion group for the show.
22 October 2004 (2): If you've made or are making subtitles or a translations from my transcripts, I'd like to host them. The idea is to bring all the subtitles and translations of as many languages together into one place, where everyone knows where to find them. If you have a subtitle, or know someone who has one or is making one or wants to, get in touch with me. -- If you've emailed me recently and I haven't gotten back to you, try again. I'm having some issues with Gmail being slow to deliver. You can also try emailing me at taurodea@fastmail.fm I still check that one about once a week.
22 October 2004: Greetings! A few things: First, if you've made a subtitle or a translation from my transcripts, I'd like to host them. The idea is to bring all the subtitles and translations of as many languages together into one place, where everyone knows where to find them. If you have a subtitle, or know someone who has one or is making one or wants to, get in touch with me.
Second, I am moving the transcripts yet again. So if you have cellophanesun bookmarked, take the opportunity now to bookmark the redirector also - http://www.thelwordsite.tk/ - and you should have no trouble finding me. I will post the direct URL to the new digs before I move, however.
Third, if you've emailed me recently and I haven't gotten back to you, try again. I'm having some issues with Gmail being slow to deliver. You can also try emailing me at taurodea@fastmail.fm, I still check that one about once a week.
Finally, I'd like to thank Annie for being such a gracious host for the past several months. The transcripts eat up a lot of bandwidth in season, and a free site (which is all I can pay for right now) can't handle the traffic. Annie kindly granted me space on her site, and carried the transcripts so that I could continue to work on them and all of us in TLW fandom could continue to enjoy them. Annie, your generosity is greatly appreciated.
After October 30, I will no longer be actively making updates to thelwordsite.cellophanesun.com (because I hope to be set up on the new server); but it should remain intact until Season 2 begins airing in February, 2004, so that fans can continue to find the transcripts at the new site.
Ciao! Steph
5 September 2004: The Season 2 promo transcript is now up.
4 September 2004: Greetings! I am still here! - Coming up PDQ: Season 2 promo! I promise this thing will leave you chomping at the bit for Season 2 to hurry up and get here. I hope to have it done tonight or sometime tomorrow.
25 July 2004: Hi folks, just a quick note to let you know I'm still alive! Things are really busy for me right now, and I've just added a 2nd job to the mix so it's getting moreso. I appreciate everyone's emails. :).
Right now, I'm not making any changes to the site - but it's on the list of things I must do in the near future. I'll keep you guys up to date when my schedule starts to loosen up.
13 June 2004: A ton of stuff is suddenly going on in my wee little world, making it much, much bigger and very busy all of a sudden. As such, I can't devote any time to the transcripts right now, as I have a lot of work to do to get ready for a big move, school, and a change in careers. As of this writing, though, I do plan to be able to do the 2nd season transcripts, so no worries - that's still several months off. If you email me right now, though, be aware it could take me a little time to get back to you. Thanks!
29 May 2004: Laurel Holloman and her husband Paul are expecting a baby sometime this fall. Congrats to them! :) -- The 2nd season will probably begin closer to Valentine's Day, 2005, rather than mid-January. -- As far as updates, I had planned on a couple, but I couldn't because I've just got too much stuff going on right now. Updates will be happening sometime after June 7, though. Thanks again for your patience.
22 May 2004: Added the transcript for Jennifer Beals' appearance on Wayne Brady's show back in February. Next, I'm working on Jennifer Beals' appearance on Sharon Osbourne's show from April. If you're wondering why all the Jennifer Beals, it's just that she makes far more appearances because of [insert your favorite reason here]. So, if you know of any TV appearances by other cast in relation to the show, please drop me a line and I'll see if I can find it and transcribe it. -- I tinkered with the transcripts page, hope it doesn't seem as cluttered now. -- Season 2 goes into production in less than a month, in Vancouver. Production runs until late November. -- Eric Mabius will be part of the cast of a new ABC show called "Eyes" (with Tim Daly and Laura Leighton) - Tim, we hardly knew ye.
16 May 2004: The transcripts for Fresh Air and Live with Regis and Kelly were added. I'll be adding the Wayne Brady transcript this week. I also changed the search thingie to Google, which means you can search the transcripts a whole lot better, in the same manner that you might search the web with Google (using quotes for phrases, plus and minus signs, and so on). -- Below are a few site link buttons. More on the way. Don't link to the image itself; instead, right click, save the image, and upload it to your own site.
14 May 2004: Updates, updates! But first, the Boring Minutiae: I'm going to begin a changelog for the transcripts. Why? I make so many little tweeks here and there, and I figured it'd be a nice thing in case you're doing translations or just plain want to keep up. -- I also broke up the old news section into two old news sections, which was very exciting. -- This'll make all you JB fans happy. This weekend (Saturday, Sunday) I'll be adding transcripts for the following: Jennifer Beals and Ilene Chaiken's radio interview on NPR's Fresh Air on April 6, 2004; Jennifer Beals' interview on Live with Regis and Kelly on March 31, 2004; and, if I have time, Jennifer Beals' interview on The Wayne Brady Show on February 2, 2004 and banners! buttons! shiny things! for those of you who like graphic links. Check back this weekend!
3 May 2004: Well, the site's traffic has dropped off to about 30% of its in-season average, so I'm gonna start adding some stuff soon. I have no idea what, yet, so let's all be surprised together. -- The search engine has been up for a week, and I'm astounded at some of the things you people are searching for. *brow* I've also noticed a lot of people are treating it like Google - guys, it just searches the text of the transcripts. It doesn't search the Internet. It also doesn't answer questions, so typing in "How many naughty words does Bette say?" will not turn up an answer, no matter how many different ways you type it. :) I'm trying not to picture a few of you, say, standing in front of your ice-dispensers on your refrigerators at home, repeating the words "Ice, please," over and over, and not knowing why the thing isn't making for you. Heh. -- Last but never least: TiBette 4evarr!!!!1!!omggg!11!
2 May 2004: Canal + France will be showing "The L Word" early in 2005. Yay! More info can be found here. They've purchased the show in addition to a few other highly-rated American TV dramas, including "Angels in America" (HBO) and "Cold Case" (CBS).
27 Apr 2004: Added the transcript for Jennifer Beals' appearance on Jon Stewart's The Daily Show, on March 30, 2004.
26 Apr 2004 #2: I've added a search engine, in case anyone's interested in searching for how many times Jenny cries or Bette says naughty words. :)
26 Apr 2004: Right now, I'm not accepting new links until I get some other things taken care of (namely, adding transcripts). In the summer, though, I plan to come back and add a separate page of links for any and every L Word site I can find. -- Now that the site traffic is down by 50% (and most likely will continue to fall) I hope to slowly add other things. I haven't decided yet what to add, but if you have suggestions, email me. -- If you're into fanfic, you can get your hiatus fix over at the Cellophanesun fanfic archive. I'm insanely finicky when it comes to fanfic, so if you find something really good (especially Bette and Tina!), let me know.
