Some more exciting news from the final day of the UK L Word Convention!

L-word.com representatives will be completing their final interview this afternoon with Eric Mabius. They will have interviewed all five actors in attendance. Look for an overview from tbsaver here on our site by mid-week. We'll be publishing the interviews in the upcoming weeks.

We're also going to have a few autographs available on L-word.com from Eric and Rachel!

Finally, An L-word.com representative says Laurel thinks most if not all of the other cast members would be very interested in attending the next L Word convention. All the cast members had a terrific experience, and they're looking forward to doing it again. We're sure the next convention will be a huge success!

Lastly, we'll have photos to post starting on Monday. Keep an eye on the site!

The L Word UK Convention First Picture Came From Mel and Jackie

The first Convention picture arrived! THANKS to Mel & Jackie (aka Bette & Tina in the L-word forum)

Mel and JAckie had the privilage to meet in person with Laurel Holloman and Rachel Shelley. They not only met but also got this beautiful picture and they were generous enough to share with the rest of us!

Mel and Jackie says; "Both Laurel and Rachel were fantastically sexy in the flesh!!! we nearly passed out when standing next to them! They were all so friendly, chatty and we sooooooo cant wait for season 3."

The L Word UK Convention Report Part 1

-word.com representatives have phoned in a few updates:

Neither of the last two episodes of Season 3 have been filmed yet. According to filming schedule reports L-word.com had received earlier in the year, this puts the show several weeks behind schedule. We had been told by Showtime execs that there was to be a several week break in filming early in November around the time Jennifer Beals had her baby, with minimal shooting to occur after that break. The cast has just received the scripts for episode 11 (of a 12 episode season), so even they don't know how the season will end.

-word.com representatives have already interviewed Laurel Holloman and Anne Ramsey. Tonight, they're interviewing Meredith McGeachie, and tomorrow they have Eric Mabius and Rachel Shelley on tap.

The convention is very well attended with about 600 convention goers having the time of their L lives.

Laurel Holloman explained that the L word filming schedule changed yet again, allowing her to get to London for the weekend. Jennifer Beals is filming now, but Laurel isn't required on set until Wednesday, so she made the long trek with her baby and husband. In the spirit of the location of the event, Laurel is wearing a Union Jack t-shirt today. She is flying back out on Sunday to be sure she rested when filming resumes on Wednesday.

One of the questions from the Q&A session was aimed at Laurel. She was asked who is a better kisser, Jennifer Beals or Rachel Shelley. Diplomatically, she answered that they're both great kissers. :-)

To round up this update, we were delighted to hear that Laurel is a visitor of L-word.com. She doesn't read fan fiction, but she enjoys the discussion board, in particular the "funny captions" thread. She says that Kate and Leisha are also visitors of L-word.com.

Let us finish up with big shout-outs to Kate and Leisha in case they're checking up on their friends in London this weekend. Make sure you don't miss out on the next one! We're told that the fans nearly brought the house down when Laurel was introduced. She was so touched by the reception that she was choked up. Come join her next time!

Laurel Holloman Appeared at The L Word UK Convention!

An L-word.com representative in UK Convention, reports that Laurel Holloman is indeed attending to UK Convention. We had reported, as had Starfury, that Laurel's filming schedule would make it impossible for her to attend. Attendees at the opening night "Meet and Greet" were delighted to find that she did, in fact, appear for the event.
