FAN FICTION PAGE VIEWS
The Fan Fiction Advisory Team has advised us that they recommend a change to how we count "page views" on fan fiction stories. Up to now, page views has been a very simplistic measure. Every page loaded or reloaded counted as a view. Now that we have stories of varying lengths, the page view count has become very inaccurate.
Starting at midnight tonight, eastern time, we're changing the page view count so that it will only count each visitor once--regardless of how many times that person visits or how many pages are in the story. This will be a far more accurate reflection, obviously, than the current method.
