HOLLYWOOD, April 26, 2006 – Daniela Sea has been cast in the new upcoming feminist release from the Gay nonprofit film group POWER UP. Daniela is set to play the role of Calvin. The movie’s plot centers on a young lady who graduates high school and (Meloni Diaz) finds her purpose in life after she gets involved with a radical feminist group.

The movie’s director Jamie Babbit has said that she “doesn’t think there a lot of people in Hollywood that are interested in financing a movie about a feminist. But it seemed like a perfect match for POWER UP.”

Also starring in the movie are Guinevere Turner (L Word & Go Fish), Meloni Diaz, Clea Duvall (But I’m a Cheerleader) and Jenny Shimizu (Foxfire) to name a few. The movie is currently in post production with un unclear release date as of yet.

Titty Committee is written and directed by Jamie Babbit who is known for her directing work in But I’m a Cheerleader, Gilmore Girls, Nip/Tuck, and Malcom in the Middle. Babbit also produced the television show Popular.
