Itty Bitty Titty Committee will be released on September
28. We've publicized the film quite extensively here on L-word.com
because we feel it is imperative to support
films that are about lesbians, by lesbians, for lesbians.
Granted, not everyone will LIKE the film. Then again, take one
look at our message boards, and we see people ticked off week in
and week out about The L Word, too. Many don't like the character
of Moira/Max. That dislike often carries over to Daniela Sea. Then
again, some just don't like Daniela Sea.
We are asking everyone to remember that this is not about Moira
or Max or Daniela. The point is that we are seeing an amazing thing
happen--this is a movie BY lesbians FOR lesbians ABOUT lesbians.
As we all know, this is a rare, rare thing, and we are appealing
to all the lesbians on this site to CONSIDER paying to see the film--particularly
the first week it opens. For some, that won't be an option because
the movie will be far away, geographically.
But for those who have the option, simply ask yourself this:
Do you want to see more films by/for/about lesbians?
If the answer is yes, then buy a ticket or two to IBTC the weekend
of September 28.
