The L Word Cruise

October 30: Depart Tampa, Florida

Thanks aroo4life for posting these to the board. I'll fill in some blanks.

When we boarded the ship, we found out that the cast and crew were already on board filming. I was quite surprised. I figured they'd come on later at night. They filmed only in closed sets today, Saturday. One of those closed sets was the pool. Jacky just called and wanted to relay some tidbits of information - Kate and Mia reportedly stripped to their respective panties and jumped in. There was also a LOT of activity outside one of the luxury rooms, where the filming was occuring. No one was allowed in that door or to even peak in it.

There had been meetings during the day for people who wanted to be extras and those who wanted to try out for a speaking role. There were two lines that people could use for that audition:

1. Dana will you marry me?

2. This was addressed to a "sex" expert character: "Miss Sparkle, do you think it's possible to be in a committed relationship and still have a polyamorous lifestyle." More on these two lines under Sunday.

Lots of people told us about closed off hallways where the actors were staying and filming.
