So I just got back last week from L5 it was by far
one of the best experiences of my lifetime, really it was. I cannot
believe how awesome each of these women really are, it was truly
amazing to me and very surreal actually.
I got opportunity to talk with each of them ever so briefly but
still had conversation and eye contact and laughed with them, that
is big, and that was really awesome for me. To be able to have an
ever so brief conversation with Jennifer Beals herself and then
see that beautiful smile up close and personal, ok that was enough
for me. lol
So let me see. Janina, was awesome, so fun, funny, down to earth
and not to mention beautiful. Actually, funny story with her is
that when I met her and she asked me where I was from I said Chicago
she said where about in Chicago I said "Schaumburg" she
said and I quote "OMG I am from Joliet which is like 20 minutes
from Schaumburg, she said when did fly in? I said Wed. she said
OMG so did my mom I bet you were on the same flight as my mom. I
said maybe, she said well there is my mom and she pointed to this
woman in the back of the room and I looked at the lady and she looked
at me and at the same time we were like OMG, it's you we were in
deed on the same flight and actually talked on the flight, so Janina
is like go over and talk to my mom so I went over and talked to
her mom and she was so sweet, she was like what a weird coincidence,
huh? So I talked to her for a few minutes about how great Janina
is, and then of course I had to ask her so have you met Jennifer
and Laurel and Rachel and she was like yes they are such nice girls,
I said that's great. So I gave Janina's mom a hug and I left, so
that was so cool! So I was off to a very good start as you can see!
The funny thing was that from that point on every time I saw Janina
she was like "schaumburg, what's up" that was cool she
totally remembered me. Even when I went to go take the group photo
with Jennifer, Laurel, Rachel and her, I walked up to go sit down
next to them to take the picture and she was like "schaumburg
what's up, I was like hey Joliet and high fived her which made Jennifer
and Laurel crack up, and then we took the picture and the picture
came out so awesome, you can see Jennifer and Laurel not just smiling
but laughing from what just happened before the picture, the picture
came out GREAT! it's framed already....lol
As the convention went on it was just amazing I met so many nice
people from all over the world from so many different countries
it was totally awesome and I made lots of new friends.
The whole weekend was great but the topper of my weekend was of
course to sit next to Jennifer and Laurel and take a picture next
to them, I mean talk about surreal. At that point you have a few
seconds to decide should I say something to them because now is
your chance, it's now or never, so I of course took the chance to
say a few quick things and make eye contact and get a smile out
of them, which like I said to me, that completes me.
As far as Rachel is concerned she is the nicest sweetest woman,
she is like everyone's best friend, so down to earth, and so beautiful,
in fact I like her more now then I ever did and I liked her before
but after meeting her she makes an ever lasting impression on you.
As for Laurel Holloman, well first off she looks great with dark
hair, she is so tiny, she is adorable. She is so sweet and that
smile and that laugh, she is just great I don't know what more to
say about her, except she is everything everyone has always said
and then some.
Now as for Jennifer now this is why I went to the convention I am
all about tibette, they are my girls. I love them. But as far as
Jennifer Beals is concerned I have never met or seen anyone who
is that beautiful, she is absolutely flawless this woman. Not only
is she beautiful, but she is soft spoken, sweet, modest, genuine,
smart, political, and the nicest person. She is EVERYTHING I had
expected and more. She was more then I expected. To see her up close
and see that smile and hear her laugh and those "eyes"
OMG she is just an amazing woman.
So all and all my experience at L5 was most excellent, it was unbelievable
and all of these women were so amazing. They all brought something
different and special to the convention, they all made me laugh,
cry, and smile throughout the weekend. L5 was great and Jennifer
and Laurel together were fantastic, I now know why these two have
this amazing chemistry on screen you can truly tell they have a
bond that is "unbreakable" and a ever lasting friendship!
I truly respect and love them now more then I did before.
So that in short was my experience, unforgettable and truly amazing.
