 Episode Summary

#603: "LMFAO"

Previously on The L Word, fun was had and we get flashbacks from previous
Seasons.

Showtime Presents...Tina wandering in to see a pissed off Aaron. The
negative for Le...er...The Girls is missing. Aaron thinks Jenny did it and
holds Tina responsible for having Jenny return the negative. Tina's all
pissed now and threatens to kill Jenny. Yay.

Opening credits...you know the rest.

We have Shane and Jenny laying in bed together. Shane wakes up, gets rid
of the dog and wakes up Jenny. Jenny's happy about them makin' with the
lovin' and they kiss. And then proceed to doing more. And then the
doorbell! Alice is here so Jenny can give her notes on her treatment
thing. Alice continues ringing the doorbell. And knocking. Jenny asks
Shane if this was a mistake and Shane says no. And more doorbell!

Shane answers the door, letting Alice in and Alice knows Shane's Just Had
Sex look. Jenny arrives and suddenly Alice suspects the obvious and
doesn't appear sure as to how to react. Shane and Jenny leave for whatever
real quick and Alice freaks out. Shane shows up again...and then Jenny.
Alice feels a tad uneasy and goes to the bathroom. Sitting on the toilet,
she goes into text mode.

Helena receives the text while on her treadmill and promptly flies off.

Tina receives the text and is flabbergasted.

Tasha receives the text and is slightly amused.

Bette receives the text while in a conference and breaks into laughter.

Kit recieves the text, but isn't knowledgeable on the whole text message
thing.

Jenny takes Shane outside before Shane goes to work wherever and Helena
calls Alice. Alice relays the conversation and kiss to Helena. Shane
departs and Jenny enters the room and Alice hangs up. Jenny doesn't want
Alice sharing. Oops.

CU now where Bette's on the phone with Tina going over the news of the day.
At her office, where Jodi and Tom wait. Bette wonders why Tom is there and
yes, he's there as the interpreter...even though Bette knows how to sign.
Bette doesn't feel comfortable working with Jodi and wants her to resign.
Jodi is in total prick mode, but I can understand. Jodi refuses
resignation and Bette threatens termination.

Jenny's where Jenny becomes the Devil to Alice. Jenny wants Alice to pitch
her story (which she wrote in one night). Alice pitches and it's based
somewhat on her relationship with Tasha, except there's a murder mystery.
Egads... Jenny dismisses the whole thing as unrealistic, especially the
relationship that's based on Alice/Tasha. Jenny thinks Alice should do
cartoon voices. And then Tina arrives at the door, just in time for Alice
to leave. Alice quickly lets Tina know not to talk about the Shenny thing.
Tina tries to talk to Jenny, but Jenny's an idiot. Tina goes over why it's
important for the negative to be returned. Which means no one'll see the
movie if the negative stays gone. Tina asks Jenny if she has the negative.
Jenny whines about life and such and denies having the negative. All
things considered, Tim probably shouldn't have let Jenny fly to Los Angeles.

Alice and Shane talk at the Planet with Alice trying to talk some sense
into her. Shane doesn't think anything's gonna come out of this. Shane
appears to be going through this, because she's just happy to be on good
terms with Jenny again.

Phyllis's office and Jodi and Tom are there along with Phyllis. Bette
gives her side of the story. Bette doesn't like Jodi defying her authority
and Phyllis goes over the Sexual Harrassment rules, making it clear that
Bette can't do a thing about Jodi. Hell hath no fury...

Shane's in bed and Jenny lets her know that she just finished her own
treatment. And they make out, so Shane can make Jenny happy. Guess this
is Shane to a fault.

The Look and yes, Alice is still on there. Alice is there to share the
secrets of whomever. But today's going to be different. Alice goes on to
read a letter from a girl whose brother just died after being in the
hospital for weeks. He's dead, because he wrote a love letter to another
guy who took exception and shot him in the face. Homophobia to the max
right there and may be based on some unfortunate real life events from last
year. Alice sees the error of her ways in terms of outing people's
sexuality as a result of the letter. The straight ladies who host the show
try to move on as if nothing happen, but the crowd is just dead now.

Tina arrives at work and everyone's giving her the, "oh Hell it's her,"
look. Aaron's office now where Tina arrives. Someone doctored Tina's
signature on a letter involving the negative being held hostage.

Onto some bar, where Phyllis wants Bette to resign. Phyllis reminds Bette
of her history at CU, including Nadia (remember her?) filing a complaint.
Phyllis made it go away without getting Bette involved. Thus, Bette had a
second chance 'til Jodi. Phyllis admits her own attraction to a
subordinate. Phyllis is going to marry Joyce, but still there's the
attraction and with Bette about to resign, Phyllis can now admit her
attraction to Bette. Bette!!! Run!!!!! Run far and forget you even know
what C.U. means!!! If Bette gave Phyllis the time of day, Joyce wouldn't
have a chance. Bette gets out, mentioning the resignation will be done in
the morning.

The Planet, where Helena gets a bunch of flowers. Apparently from Dylan,
but Helena doesn't much care for Dylan right now.

Alice goes over her about to be fired tomorrow situation with Tasha and
tries to figure out what to wear to her firing tomorrow. This leads to
more tension between the couple not meant to be together. A call it's
apparently pretty serious from the Gay & Lesbian Center.

The couple arrives and the lady in charge, Jamie wants to talk Marie (the
girl whose letter was read on-air) off a ledge so she doesn't jump. Tasha
doesn't think this will work and that Alice can't do this. Alice, not
caring much for the idea that she can't do this, decides to. Alice goes to
talk to Marie and the two have a nice chit-chat. Alice assures Marie that
she doesn't have a camera crew. It's just them. Alice mentions that she's
going to be fired for reading Marie's letter. Alice doesn't regret reading
it and credits Marie with changing the world for writing the letter to her.

Onto Hit Club ("Hit! It's a Hit!"), where Kit and Sunset hang out. Kit's
not interested in men messing her up anymore and women mess each other up.

Lots of dancing in the club and it's like one of All Girl SL clubs where
there's not a man in sight (well, except for the ones who switched their
avatar's gender in hopes of infiltration). Kit goes to greet Jenny and
Shane and sees them making out. Kit shares this with the Group Of Friends
and everyone already knows. Here comes Shane and everyone's in Shush Mode.
Bette's trying to contain her laughter. Here comes Jenny. Everyone's in
on it and Shane probably suspects as much, but says nothing. Bette's still
trying to contain her laughter. Jenny leaves for the VIP room. And then
Shane leaves. They're not good with stealth. Sunset, the DJ calls Kit to
the dancefloor, so they can dance. Everyone's having a good time, while
Jenny & Shane overlook the world. Shane doesn't care if they know. And
they kiss for all to watch.

Everybody's so happy. But this is The L Word and happiness is kind of a
temporary thing.
