 Episode Summary

#602: "Least Likely"

Kace's Episode Review Of Mass Destruction

We get a Previously package which includes Season 3 highlights of Dylan.
Dylan! Okay, I have good vibes about this one already.

Showtime Presents...a pissed off Niki at her home full of hangers-on.
Niki's really upset at Jenny. The hangers-on are annoying and Niki is
really really irate. Niki does the obvious and tells everyone to leave.
Niki then talks to herself, proclaiming Jenny to be, "Dead Meat." Oh snap.

The opening credits!!! C'mon...even those of you who hate it are singing
along at this point. Or at the very least, humming. AND
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE!!! *cough cough* Damn sinuses....

Helena and Kit talk with what appears to be a Kit Porter drag queen, who
shall be the next DJ at Hit Club. The Queen's name is Sunset Boulevard.
Cute.

At the Planet now, where we have our battleline update. In one corner, we
have Jenny, with Alice and Tasha hangin' out. In the other, it's Shane and
Kit. Shane orders waffles for Jenny. WAFFLES!!! Waffles for the
Master!!! Jenny however doesn't want 'em and has Alice announce as such.
Bette/Tina arrive just in time to see Jenny trash the waffles. What's with
the hating on waffles? Did Bobby Slayton write this? The Happy Couple
play Rock Paper Scissors to see who winds up in which corner. Tina winds
up at Jenny's table. Bette, at Shane's. Alice is writing a treatment for
a film. Oh, goody. Alice wants to buy a house in Malibu and Tasha doesn't
like Malibu. Yay, more tension! Bette/Tina text each other updates on the
angst at each table. Tina puts over Jenny's screenwriting and recommends
Jenny as Alice's reader. Alice/Tasha have more unhappy couple stuff.
Tasha's studying for Police Academy. Please, let Tackleberry be there!
Anyway, more Alice and Tasha bickering. Tina asks about Alice/Tasha's
upcoming therapy session and Tasha leaves in disgust, citing privacy
issues. As she leaves, Helena arrives. Helena refuses to take sides in
the War. Kit refers to her as, "Switzerland." Bette/Tina talk about being
able to possibly adopt and doing construction for their house. Jenny finds
her own needs more important, not wanting the noise. She mentions needing
a roommate and Shane tries apologizing to her again. Jenny tells Shane
she's full of Art Modell and leaves.

Max/Tom arrive at Jenny's where Shane's arranging flowers outside. Jenny
says hi. More tension and stuff.

Onto the movie studio office place. Le Girls or Lez Girls has now become
The Girls and Tina takes offense to Aaron & Co.'s decision. The experts
refer to it as Boy Meets Girl who falls for a girl but goes back to boys.
So basically it's Kissing Jessica Stein?

CU now, where Jodi and Phyllis make their Season 6 debuts, with Tom
alongside Jodi. Bette arrives for this big conference thing concerning
Jodi being involved or associated with the school again. Bette doesn't
welcome the drama or bad vibes.

Max arrives at some health clinic where the Doctor lady for Max's upcoming
surgery. However, there's a problem. That problem being Max being
pregnant. As it turns out, testosterone doesn't make for a good
contraceptive. So much for surgery, at least for a while.

Back to CU where Tom gets the urgent text message from Max. The conference
thingy wraps up. Bette needs to talk with Jodi in private, but Jodi's
unavailable. Bette's unhappy about that. Bette needs to talk with Phyllis.
Off to Phyllis's office where JOYCE FUCKING WISCHNIA is nekkiddddd!!!
Bette disappears and a naked Joyce professes her love for Phyllis and asks
for her hand in marriage. Guess this occurs before Proposition Hate passed
back in November. While I try to ignore my cynicism towards the notion of,
"OMG TEH CHANGE!" from this past November, Phyllis says, "yes." I tell ya,
Joyce hasn't been the same since she started hangin' out at Applebee's with
Ron Burgundy and Lumbergh. Or maybe that's just bad cross referencing on
my part.

Dan Foxworthy's room of doom where Alice/Tasha are there. Alice answers
all the questions, which Dan finds oddly amusing. For some reason, Dan's
seated position reminds me of Darkseid, minus the whole stereo killing
between himself and Batman stuff. Dan finally gets Tasha to participate in
the discussion.

Max arrives at the abortion clinic place...which looks just like the freaky
one Kit/Angus went to in Season 4. Max informs the lady at the desk that
this is serious and Max is Female To Male and thus, possible for the whole
pregnancy thing.

Jenny writes about Shane while Shane washes her car outside. Where does
Shane make her money nowadays?

Alice/Tasha hold hands in front of Dan, making promises to each other.
Darkseid Foxworthy decides in his infinite wisdom that they shouldn't be in
therapy...and that they don't belong together.

Alice/Tasha leave all pissed off about the whole, "nothing in common,"
thing. And so they kiss...which proceeds to making out. They don't have
much in common, but they do have that. Seems to be the running theme for
all of Alice's relationships.

Tom arrives at the clinic to find a peeved Max. It's too late to do the
abortion, so Max is essentially stuck. Max calls Tom a, "faggot." Stay
classy, Max. This leads to one of the most anti-climatic fights ever as
Max knocks Tom down with a punch to the testicles. Tom doesn't think he's
ready for this.

Back at Alice's where Alice/Tasha prepare to begin their Pros/Cons list of
their relationship. I miss seeing the Chart in the background.

Onto an arts gallery, where Bette/Tina look at paintings. Bette asks about
the artist, Kelly Wentworth. Kelly herself arrives and introduces herself
to Bette. As it turns out, Bette remembers Kelly under her maiden name of
Fremont in her college days. They were best of friends back in college.
It's revealed that Bette and Kelly kissed each other once and Kelly freaked
out or whatever, breaking Bette's heart for a few minutes. It's like
timing with Bette/Tina. Soon as they're all happy and lovey dovey...MONKEY
WRENCH!!!

Alice/Tasha turn out to have more Cons than Pros on their list and thus
have to start figuring out a convaluted points system. If one has to go
through all this rationalization, it's probably not gonna be worth the
trouble. Then again, what do I know?

Back to the gallery where Bette/Tina say hi to Kelly again. The Happy
Couple are about to leave, only for Bette to see Jodi. Bette neds to talk
to Jodi. Jodi leaves her Bif Naked looking date behind to have a chat with
Bette. The chat involves Bette being unhappy with Jodi not getting a
meeting scheduled with her. Meanwhile, Tina and Kelly talk for a bit.
Bette gives Jodi 'til tomorrow to get a meeting figured out, retrieves Tina
and leaves.

Into the night at Hit Club, where Kit, Helena, Alice and Tasha talk. And
holy crap, it's Dylan!!! Hooray!!! Dylan's out of the closet, it appears.
Helena tries to play calm while Tasha is informed a bit on the backstory of
Helena/Dylan.

Max plays a violent video game to relieve stress and Tom arrives. Max's
phone broke, though it seems likely that Max broke it intentionally. Tom
wants to be there for Max and be Daddy. Awww... Max kinda resembles Liam
Gallagher here.

Bette/Tina's house, where Tina is less than impressed with Kelly. Kelly
regretted not taking Bette up on the offer to sleep with her. Tina accuses
Bette of flirting and feeding off people wanting her. Like blood to a
vampire. Bette asks if she's a vampire. No, that would be Uta Refson.
This conversation leads to a TiBette 'Shipper approved moment between the
Happy Couple and yes, Bette only wants Tina.

While they begin with the makin' with the lovin', it's back to Hit Club
where Alice, Kit, Helena and Tasha watch Dylan dance. Alice decides to
roll for initiative, wanting Tasha to have her back. Alice and Dylan have
a sort of confrontation, but Alice isn't good at this. Helena arrives,
tagging in to save Alice the embarrassment. I'm in agreement with Dylan,
Helena looks amazing.

Back to the table where Alice completes the Season 3 storyline of Dylana to
Tasha.

Dylan finally figured out her sexuality, thanks to Helena. She also
apologizes to Helena. And that she's never stopped thinking about her.
And so on and so forth. Helena wants Dylan to have a good time. But Dylan
now looks bummed.

Alice now proceeds to the Seasons 4 and 5 portion of Helena's storyline to
Tasha. Tasha offers to kick Dylan's ass, but Helena doesn't want that to
happen. Dylan exits and Helena gives chase.

Helena catches up to her outside, shoves her against a vehicle and verbally
hauls off on her. Dylan thanks Helena for it. "Now I know you care," says
Dylan. Small comfort.

Presumably the next day as Shane can't get in, because the door's locked.
Jenny reluctantly lets her in. Shane begins to get her stufff, having
given up on Jenny. Jenny reveals that it was indeed Shane that broke her
heart. She then admits her love for Shane. Jenny's in love with Shane.
Shane isn't sure how to react at first. Then again, this is probably
against the norm for Shane as it's usually, "let's screw then fall in
love." Here we have the love admission after a long friendship. They
hug...and then they kiss.

And onto the closing credits!

Hoooooooooooooooly wow!!! I think this may be the best episode I've seen
since Dana died. I haven't really gauged anyone's reactions as of this
writing, but I thoroughly enjoyed this. A lot.

Seriously. A lot.

Discuss the episode and share your thoughts on the rest of Season 6!
