 Episode Summary

The L Word Episode 507 - "Lesbians Gone Wild"
_______

Hey, anyone else notice Max missing this week? Anyone?

Anyone?

Previously on The L Word, stuff happened and SheBar went to war with the
Planet.

Showtime Presents...an on location argument between Niki and Begonia, the
girl playing Karina (Marina). It's the Big Coffee Drinker conversation
from Pilot. This is either commentary on Karina Lombard or with Jenny
running off the studio behind the scenes people, commentary on why The L
Word DVD extras suck.

Seriously, would it kill ya to throw in a Blooper Reel??? Instead of
dealing with the L Word theme again, let's ponder as to why they don't have
a blooper reel for their DVD releases. And looove...blah.

And so the parade of apathy begins with some girl from SheBar do free
advertising at the set of Lez Girls. Adele is sent to retrieve the fliers,
while Jenny and Niki talk and get all intimate.

Onto the base as Col. Gillian Davis arrives and is introduced to Capt.
Curtis Beech is introduced. They get all chummy and such and Beech doesn't
seemed thrilled.

Beech enters his office where Tasha awaits. Curtis gives Tasha a quick
history lesson on how effective Gillian is with her prosecution work.

The Look...which is some View ripoff show, complete with a couple of
cluless hostesses and Alice. There's a reason I don't care for the View
and this scene pretty much reinforces that. They mention Paris Hilton's
sex tape (given Paris's announcement about bein' on the show eventually, I
find that cute).

Wow The Look is on TV, Kit and Jodi watch (I'm guessing it's closed
captioned). Bette's about to go to some gallery as Molly arrives. She's
reluctant to be there and doesn't get into modern art. Molly points out
Alice on TV as being from her Mother's, "degrading podcast."

Tasha violates protocol and introduces herself to Gillian, failing to take
her breath awaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy... 20 years later, Tom Cruise still
looks alright while Kelly McGillis...um...yeah.

The Look (theme done by EZGirl, who gets around on themes in this
Universe), as we go to break and they encourage Alice to be a
non-controversial, "fun gay," and stuff. They want Alice to out people.
On the previous episode, she didn't seem interested in doing this. Alice
begins to hint at Niki being gay. The Look can inspired people to be The
Blind.

Party in Niki's trailer as Jenny needs to talk to Niki alone. Everyone
else leaves and it's just them. They kiss and talk and kiss and Tina
doesn't want them to be, "so obvious," on set about each other.

Tina walks with Niki's manager and some other woman at the studio. They're
unhappy about Niki being outed by Alice. Gretchen is the only out actress
in the cast. Tina departs with some other girl as Kit, Bette and the
reluctant Molly arrive. Tina introduces Sam, the DP to them before Sam
departs. Bette thinks Sam was flirting with Tina and now they need to talk
alone about Angelica (suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure).

Jodi and Amy, her ex have a pleasant conversation about moving on from
their relationship. Amy's with some girl named Melinda. Jodi's with a
chronic cheater, but she doesn't know that yet. Feel the excitement.

Speaking of which, Tina introdcues Bette to Bev/Nina's (Bette/Tina's)
bedroom with Jenzilla's vision taking over. This leads to the obvious,
with neither of our happy horny couple having the sense to at least close
the door. They both get on the bed and begin to kiss as the scanner shocks
them out. Some dude shows up and summons Tina to the set. Now Bette's all
horny.

Alice is at the studio, but security ain't letting her in. Tina arrives
and informs Alice about being banned. Alice becomes the stupidest person
alive as Tina tries drill it into Alice's head that outing people isn't the
best of ideas (even if it is for job related reasons on Tina's behalf).
Alice claims to be Tina's friend (not that she was much of one early in
Season 4). Did someone hit a Self Destruct Button???

Molly talks with Shane, who's doing hair. Well, I wonder where this could
possibly go? Bette and Kit arrive and Bette gives Shane the Don't Even Try
It look to her.

Jenny/Niki are slowly makin' with the lovin'. Niki wants to go to SheBar
for that Lesbian Turkish Oil Wrestling thing, but Jenny says they can't,
'cause they gotta work. Well, if your only purpose for watching this show
is naked girls kissing, it's taken you 26 minutes to become entertained.
But thankfully, you're much more refined and have found this episode boring
for other reasons up to this point. Niki wants to have Jenny's kids...and
go to Japan with her. Adele summons Jenny on the scanner, but that's okay.
Niki tells Jenny she loves her. Hoo boy.

Gillian's office and Curtis's office (with Tasha onhand) with Gillian
calling Curtis. Gillian tries to do the helpful strongarm and Tasha isn't
receptive.

The Pluto Cafe set at the studio as Kit goes over her problems with the
Planet still being closed and going to war with SheBar. Adele still has a
SheBar flier with her, which Niki notices when Adele helpfully drops it.
Tina asks Adele about what just happened and Adele comes up with something.
Y'know, I think Max may be right about that gal. Bette's about to depart
and she and Tina wanna have storytime together so bad. Molly's gonna stick
around the studio instead of leaving with Bette. She's gonna hang out with
Shane. This stuff telegraphs itself.

Adele is sent to talk to Niki about whatever and Adele begins to her black
magic as Niki wants to leave the studio and go 'rassle. SheBar's down the
street from the studio...which means the Planet's not far from there,
either.

Bette's place as she's on the bed. Jodi walks in and talks about Amy and
everyone's so happy and blahblahblah Bette's horny over Tina. So she pulls
her in and has her way with her as Bette/Jodi's little game of control
continues. With Tina, she smiles during sex. With Jodi, she's grimmacing.

Molly is bored and Shane wants to get into Molly. Well, Molly does look
nice, but there's apparently a rule against straight women staying straight
on this show.

Meanwhile, Jenny talks with Sandra and Tina, wondering where Niki is.
Adele runs in to let them know where Niki most likely is.

Oil Wrestling Night as Dawn hosts and Cindy is ready to take on a
challenger. All that's missing now is Billie Blaikie. Niki makes the
happy challenge. Cindy knows who Niki is and as the match begins, Dawn
gets on the phone to call someone about a ,"hot tip." Niki's gonna be
outed, one way or the other it appears.

Tina, Jenny, Kit, Shane and Molly arrive. Paparazzis are outside waiting
to get a glimpse of Niki being gay.

The match continues and it's only slightly less athletic than what they do
in WWE. But nowhere nears as athletic as the TNA girls.

Kit calls police to inform them of SheBar serving alcohol to underaged
girls.

Niki wins the match and Tina tries to call Niki out of the ring. Niki
wants Jenzilla in the ring. Jenzilla is encouraged by Tina to get her.
Jenny enters and "Smack My Bitch Up" by the Prodigy begins playing. Tina's
not too thrilled about what's happening as Jenny/Niki being to 'rassle.
Molly however is no longer bored. Shane finds her an opening for
comraderie. Molly wants tequila. Dawn/Cindy notice Shane in the crowd.

Gillian's office as Alice arrives. Alice lies, trying to cover for Tasha.
Gillian gives the big scare to Alice about the legal troubles. Y'know,
Gillian Vs. Joyce would make a great rivalry. The conversation is
whatever it is and Alice leaves, just as Tasha walks by. Quick chat
between the two and they walk in seperate directions.

More of the Prodigy as Jenny/Niki makeout and wrestle in front of the
crowd. Yeah, I'd say Niki's pretty much out now, Look or no Look. There
is no winner as Jenny flips off the crowd while smiling. The contestants
stand and make out some more before raising each other's hand. Well,
there's something you won't see in ROH. They leave the ring and Dawn
brings Molly into the ring. Dawn pushes Molly down and we have another
match! Shane enters the ring to defend Molly's honor and that brings in
Cindy. Shane got some of Dawn's hair in the process. LAPD arrives and
everyone is told to leave.

Tina thanks some cop for not arresting Niki. Shane high gives Kit and then
flirts with Molly a little more. Cindy tries to flirt with the cop and
that causes even more problems. Jaw jackin' between Dawn and Kit as Niki
wanders off without Tina. She talks with Jenny and they kiss and Jenny
hits Niki with an, "I love you," makin' the feelings mutual.

Adele sits alone in her glory, playing director. Ooooooooooo...

I'm not sure what to make of this episode, really. So I'll just say, See
ya next week.
